When people ask what kind of photographer I am, I say "a fun one." ;) I hope you have already figured out by looking at my photos that I don't just ask my subjects to smile and say "cheese" for a photo. Because where is the story, the life, the FUN in that!?
I am here for the fun! And for the FULL story.
I want to capture you tickling your kids and snuggling your babies. I want a kid doing something ornery so I can capture the mischief in his eyes. I want the pride in your husband's face as he embraces your growing baby belly.
I want photos that you can look back on and smile and say, "that was us."
I believe that capturing moments with your loved ones should be a fun and enjoyable experience. Most importantly, I think it should document YOUR LIFE! I would love to get to know you and tell YOUR story in photographs that you can look back on forever.

Now the "about me" part... I'm based out of Saint Marys, IA- 20 minutes south of Des Moines. I have a (mostly) wonderful husband (ha!), three kids (ages 9, 7 and 5), a dog, two cats and a hot air balloon. Admittedly, I love when things are a bit chaotic. We have a small acreage in rural Warren County. I love gardening, strawberry-rhubarb pie, road-tripping and everything about summer.
